We use electricity everyday. But, if we use too much it can hurt the environment.
One way we can reduce energy is by using public transportation. Public transportation can improve air quality, reduce the greenhouse gas emissions, and conserve land by decreasing the need for highways (because cars, which use a lot of energy, travel on highways).
Energy can also effect our light pollution. Light pollution is the brightening of the sky and is caused by street-lights and other man-made sources. It disrupts natural cycles (such as migratory and breeding patterns) and inhibits the observation of stars and planets. It also wastes energy, causes more greenhouse gas emissions, and leads to unsafe driving conditions. Also, the light pollution can interfere with human metabolism and sleep.
